The Van leg of the “Astro Hackathon” event, organized under the leadership of the Turkish Space Agency (TUA), took place on March 28–29, 2026.
The Astro Hackathon Van event, held under the “Team Leadership” of Prof. Dr. Mehrdad Fojlaley, Vice President of the BDU Diplomats’ Union and the SDID/CDBA Civil Diplomacy and Business World Association, lasted two days.
Organized by the Van Business Development Center (İŞGEM) and the Van Branch of the Entrepreneurial Businessmen Foundation (GİV) at the Van Yüzüncü Yıl University İnnovan Entrepreneurship Center, the “Astro Hackathon” event aims to foster the development of new ideas and technologies in the space sector.
