Deputy Chief of Staff and Diplomat Muzaffer Akyıldırım Attended the STRATCOM Summit. The Strategic Communication Summit (STRATCOM), organized for the fifth time this year by the Presidency’s Communication Directorate, was held in Istanbul on March 27–28.
Held under the theme “Disconnection in the International System: Crises, Narratives, and the Search for Order,” the summit brought together representatives, diplomats, academics, and media professionals from 38 countries and 6 international organizations, while the program also featured 11 ministers from 10 countries and over 60 high-level officials.
Among those attending the conference was E. Diplomat Muzaffer Akyıldırım, Vice President of the BDU International Diplomats Union and the SDID/CDBA Civil Diplomacy and Business World Association. During the conference, Akyıldırım met with Vice President Fuat Oktay and officials from the Communications Directorate, noting that the BDU Diplomats’ Association and the SDID/CDBA Civil Diplomacy and Business World Association could represent the views and expectations of the business community and civil society.
